  • Abstract
An integrated temperature sensor, operating with low voltage supply in the temperature range of 0-100°C, is here presented. The working principle is based on the fact that two different currents flowing into bipolar transistors produce a ¿Vbe proportional to the absolute temperature. Two low voltage operational amplifiers with low input offset voltage make, the whole structure able to work with low voltage constraints and increase the sensor sensitivity. The output voltage is proportional to the absolute temperature and the passive elements have been designed in order to have an output voltage sensitivity of about 2.5 mV/°K. The whole circuit works with a 1 V voltage supply. Its total power consumption (included that dissipated in the load resistence) is about 700 ¿W.
