  • Abstract
    Adaptive transmission technique adopting spectrally-precoded orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (SP-OFDM) signals is studied on the flat fading channel. By jointly adapting the precoding order for spectral precoder, transmission power, and the component modulation for OFDM, adaptive SP-OFDM is shown to outperform conventional adaptive OFDM significantly in average spectral efficiency.
