Abstract
A method of voltage flicker detection using independent component analysis (ICA) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, envelope curve is detected by square detector. Secondly, harmonious signals which form voltage flicker are separated by using minimum mutual information method and fixed Fast-ICA algorithm. Finally, each harmonic amplitude and frequency are calculated. Simulation results show that this method can accurately separate the envelope curve from signals containing Gaussian noises.
