Abstract :
An assessment model of green degree of biodegradable packaging materials is built. The first-order assessment indexes are composed of environmental properties, energy properties, resource properties and economy and the second order assessment index are made up of pollutant emission, biodegradation, recycling property, energy type, efficiency ratio, energy utilization ratio, material utilization ratio, material recovery ratio, raw material type, user costs/production costs and environmental costs/ production costs. The Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) methodology and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) are employed to analyze and assess this model. The assessment model is applied to study the green degree of plant fiber and starch dishware. The result verifies the correctness of the model.
