Abstract :
To the disadvantages of the body-in-white (BIW) product line with the flexible of line of vehicle, there had been the programming innovation with the N+1 main line in the workshop of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. (SGMW). This paper gave the research on the low-cost and high-benefit characteristics of the N+1 Product Programming Mode, the significant performances on market and the promotion of concept of N+1 innovation to other factories and workshops of SGMW.
