  • Abstract
    This paper firstly introduces the status, role and current development of SMEs in China´s economy and then further studies the reasons for SMEs´ transformation and upgrading. Based on this, the paper suggests countermeasures to be adopted by SMEs, such as strategy selection, technological innovation, talent development, management operation and brand building, to realize transformation and upgrading, and also proposes countermeasures to be adopted by the government and the society.
