  • Abstract
Software reuse is the use of software resources from all stages of the software development process in new applications. This paper introduces a novel framework that helps to identify automatically the segments of software that can be reused in building new software. This framework is based on a UML use-case textual specification and a recent natural language processing technique called Textual Entailment. This approach will reduce software development cycle time and cost. In addition, it improves the software quality.
