Abstract :
The silicon-on-insulator rib waveguide bends using phase-compensated microprisms are experimental demonstrated. A very compact SOI rib waveguide with bending radius of 15.43 ¿m is achieved with demonstrating bending angle of 10°, 30°, and 40°.
