  • Abstract
    A compact single-ended setup for stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) spectra characterization is proposed based on microwave modulated optical sidebands and Fresnel reflection in optical fibers. The measured spectra agree well with the theoretical Lorentzian profile.
