Abstract
Chromatic dispersion and differential group delay tolerance of 30-Gbit/s 8DPSK and 8QAM signaling is investigated experimentally, and we show 1.7 and 1.25 times enhancement of them in 8QAM signaling by simple receiver-side digital signal processing.
