Abstract
Polarization characteristics of aerial SMF were examined with the accelerated Jones-Matrix Eigenanalysis, comparing to interferometric method. PMD shows strong correlation with environmental changes but PDL doesn´t. Both instantaneously increase however at different and contingent times.
