Abstract :
We describe the dynamic circuit design technique behind a library of CMOS operators for the rapid and reliable realisation of VLSI bitserial signal processors. The cell library is implemented in 2.5 micron bulk CMOS technology with two layers of metal interconnect, and maintains a consistent performance of 20MHz. As an example of the capability of the library, we discuss a full-precison multiplier.
