Abstract :
A high-performance monolithic 8-bit video A/D converter is described. The 2×3 mm2 converter design provides 8-bit resolution over the full 5 MHz video bandwidth and consumes 100 niA from a single 5V supply. Reduction of input capacitance, number of components and power consumption is achieved by using an improved folding circuit and an interpolation technique.
