Abstract :
A differential BiCMOS receiver channel consisting of a wideband variable-gain voltage amplifier, peak detector and timing detector has been designed for a portable light-weight low-power laser rangefinding device. Measurement results suggest that a cm-level measurement accuracy can be realized using integrated ASICs.
