Abstract :
This paper describes the design and measurement results of a novel, fully differential low noise amplifier. The amplifier is based on a DDA topology and provides a high resistive input impedance, a wide input common mode range and a built-in programmable gain. The input referred noise is 17.2 nV/¿Hz. The amplifier is implemented in a 0.5¿m standard CMOS technology and spans 400¿m à 500¿m. It consumes typically 1.9 mA from a single 3 volt supply.
