Abstract
Modern digital glass fiber transmission networks are provided for the distribution of TV-and stereo broadcast programs and for wide-band communication. For this application a bipolar 4×4 crosspoint array has been developed allowing the transmission of digitized video signals of 140 Mbit (NRZ).
