Abstract :
This paper introduces an applicable method for measuring battery´s internal impedance. The proposed method is based on the concepts of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. In this method a small perturbation is imposed on the battery´s current and the voltage response is measured. The impedance is calculated by the ratio of voltage and current variation. The dependency of impedance respect to frequency of perturbation is analyzed and a proper structure of an electrical circuit which could completely simulate the performance of a battery in dynamic load conditions is announced.
