Abstract :
This paper presents an improved dynamic average model for synchronous machine-rectifier system. The behavior of the machine-converter is expressed by mathematical equations makes it suitable for analysis of variable frequency systems. The paper expresses an in-depth description of the modeling approach, together with a transient validation of the proposed model. The model is validated through comparison of average model in MATLAB and the experimental results.
