  • Abstract
    Geological field practice is a necessary part of the teaching in geology related. Digital panoramic geological field practice base is designed based on B/S model, using Web2.0 technology and panoramic images to archive real geological field environment. Take Xingcheng geological field practice base of Jilin University as the demonstration, established Xingcheng digital panoramic geological field practice base, the system providing panoramic images and image-based geological information according to the user´s actual location. Users can use the system to study geological field knowledge and skills, such as geological field observations, geological mapping, and geological analysis.
