Construction of a Theme Virtual Learning Community based on Web3D

Virtual Learning Community provides a learning environment, which break through the constraints of time space in study. However, it still has the problem like lack of the virtual learning community participation and the life experience degrees etc. Currently, to construct a Web3D-based virtual learning community performs its feasibility. In this paper, through literature analyzes, it describes the weaknesses of the two-dimensional virtual learning communities, takes full advantage of key technologies of Web2.0, including the high-end technology such as communication, collaboration, and 3D etc., and then constructs a web3D-based virtual learning community system. To a certain extent, it will improve the recent deficiencies of the majority of the virtual learning community.
