Abstract :
This paper proposes a new algorithm called Integrated Multicast Waveband Routing and Grooming (IMWRG) in optical networks. We first present the single-hop, multi-hop and hybrid multicast waveband grooming policies, and then develop the multicast layered auxiliary graph including one virtual topology layer and multiple waveband-plane layers to support the effective multicast waveband routing and grooming. Simulation results show that, compared with other algorithm, IMWRG can obtain better performances.
