Abstract :
This paper mainly discusses the problems of tree-push, mesh-pull and hybrid mode based Peer-to-Peer (P2P) live system, then propose and realize a new hybrid mode with two simple and effective mechanism, which called an alternant push and pull combined p2p media broadcast system. A peer transfer performance and Gossip protocol are introduced to adjust the topology of overlay network. Then experimented a campus network system. The test results show that this system can make full use of client resource, reduce the burden of network transmission and realize the better performance of data distribution.
