    As two kinds of new materials, FRP bars and reactive powder concrete have broad application prospects in the civil engineering field. In this paper, the advantages and prospects of the use of two new materials together are elaborated on the basis of synthetical discuss about research achievement at home and abroad. The problem that need solve in the research of basic properties of FRP bars reinforced reactive powder concrete structural components are put forward.
