Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new active contours method to segment complex image with multiple texture blended. Inherited from localizing idea, we set up a sub-region in local region, so images have multiple region with different statistics model and region sized can be segmented. We then compare this method to both the global method and the localizing method, additional with some analysis. The experiments show that our method is more robust and more accurate.
