Abstract :
To integrate process industry process operation systems effectively, an Agent/XML based information integration platform is proposed. Firstly, process operation subsystems are encapsulated as Agents based on XML and Agent technology. Then according to the integration goal of process operation systems, the Agents distributed in different domains are integrated. The encapsulation of different subsystems was implemented through Agent technology so as to guarantee original security and stability in the information integration platform. At the same time, the information communication among different Agents is expressed through XML to ensure the good cross-platform performance of the information integration platform. Finally, the effectiveness and validity of the integration technology were verified through the practical application in the development of TE process simulator platform.
