Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The pattern recognition of rare plant in RS image have been studied in the paper. Samples of leaf were scanned into leaf images. By analyzing these samples of leafs, a new arithmetic was chosen and a standard curve of rare plant by the arithmetic can be gotten. RS images were divided into grids. There are curves by the arithmetic in grids. The standard curve of rare plant and curves in grids were compared. If both of curves look very similar, the grid is rare plant areas.
