Abstract :
As the widely accepted Internet protocol in Next Generation Internet (NGI), Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) has profound advantages in supplying multicast services, such as Video On Demand (VOD), Netmeeting service and so on. But, how to provide faster and safer multicast network is becoming an issue day by day recently. Under this situation, we suggested a new multicast method-integrating IPv6 multicasting scheme with Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology and providing a better solution for giving qualified multicast services.
