  • Abstract
    Software process improvement has taken a very important role and awareness in the small organizations. Every day organizations initiate and develop new techniques to manufacture qualitative software products. Only few of them, able to achieve the desired results. Organizations mainly focus on the product quality rather on the processes which in fact make the product. The great amount of software organizations of the world are of small kind. These organizations have realized that it is essential for them to improve their processes and working technique but they lack in resources and the information for execution. In this paper, diverse literature on Software process improvement in the small organizations had been reviewed. The purpose is to find out the critical success factors and the barriers for the small organization in the successful implementation of Software process improvement program.
