    In current license plate recognition, there are many problems because of the complex, irregular motion and blur license plate. This paper presents a license tilt detection method, and to improve overall system performance and reliability, proposes some detection algorithms: gravity center method, Hough transform, the method of put vertexes into a line. Simply described their processes, at the same time compared their advantages and disadvantages, which provide the basis for license plate recognition.
