Abstract
This paper presents a development of electromagnetic simulation tool for analysis of the capacitive and inductive obstacle in the rectangular waveguide. The simulation is designed and developed by using the electromagnetic wave propagation and iterative method to calculate the amplitude of waves in the spectrum and real domain. The developed simulation, called WCD (Waveguide Circuit Design) consists of menu, designed, calculating and displayed windows which were designed by using GUI (Graphic User Interface) of MATLAB® program. The simulated results show the electric and magnetic fields on the waveguide obstacles and circuit properties. The obtained results were agreement with theory and another simulation program.
