Abstract :
As the old saying goes, “With the skin gone, what can the hair adhere to.” The relationship between user needs and product innovation design is ´skin´ and ´hair´, there is no demand there would be no design. This paper analyzes the impact of user needs of the subjective and objective factors, and thus establishes a model of user needs in order to help designers to analyze user needs. On this basis, it puts forward a way of product innovation design which based on user needs, advocating the user needs analysis throughout the process of product innovation design, in order to truly achieve the product innovative design of meet customer needs.
