  • Abstract
Through analyzing the characteristics of the distribution of the pollution sources in a drainage area, the legitimacy situation of the outlet of the pollution sources and the pollution traits of the drainage area, the distribution type of the accidental pollution sources is generalized and the corresponding target distribution function is established. Furthermore, based on the application of the feedback information from the process of searching and the regulation of the distribution of search effort, the target distribution function for the accidental pollution sources in a drainage area is classified as original target distribution function and posteriori target distribution function and the determine method for each of them is given. The original distribution function is a prior condition to conduct a search, while, the posteriori target distribution function can fully show the advantage of the theory of optimal search in optimal maximum probability, optimal increment and dynamic decision-making, etc.
