Abstract :
A reliability transmission routing metric algorithm based on ETX was proposed, which aimed at the limited energy and the special requirement of transmission reliability for wireless sensor network. This paper finds the several key characteristics of wireless sensor networks communication link, such as high loss rate, obvious asymmetry, according to the experimental study. From these, an energy efficient and reliable routing metric algorithms is provided. Then the routing metric proposed in the paper is adopted to improve the traditional AODV routing protocol. Simulation results show that this algorithm is an excellent routing metric for improving reliability transmission.
