Abstract :
In order to improve the coding efficiency of the wireless mesh network and system throughput, this paper focused on the insufficiency of the traditional random linear network coding that coding all intermediate nodes, and suggest an improved strategy for coding: Do not code the links that without network coding can also achieve maximum multicast rates and apply it in wireless mesh network with coding-aware routing. This paper use NS simulator as a test bed, and the result shows that, compared with network coding without such strategies, this method can effectively reduce the coding overhead, improve date processing capacity of nodes and improve the system´s transmission rate and throughput without affect the network coding.
