Abstract :
AFDX network has developed into a new generation avionic network system due to the advantages of low cost, complete technology, scalability, double redundant management, the determinability of the delayed network communication, etc. By using the Deterministic and Stochastic Petri Nets as the tool and based on periodic message and event message, the paper conducts modeling and simulating for AFDX network, and then based on the results, two important performance indexes, AFDX network load and system time-delay, can be calculated. The analysis of the performance curve of the two indexes can further the understanding of the transmission mechanism of event messages in AFDX network, which will provide an important theoretical basis for the design and improvement of integrated avionic system.
