Abstract :
A three degrees of freedom vehicle simulation model is constituted, to analysis and discuss the vehicle´s maneuver ability and stability, based on some reasonable hypothesis. The vehicle simulation model is calculated and analyzed on the relevant data. Based on the vehicle simulation model, transient characteristics of the steering wheel angle step input was processed, frequency responses of vehicle were analyzed, and the influence on the frequency response of vehicle parameter was studied too. The results showed that, along with the increase of rare tire stiffness, the steering sensitivity of vehicle was increased, and the value of vehicle static was increased too, which is favorable to enhance the vehicle´s maneuver ability. It could offer practical value for accumulating some data and experiments for the further research on this theme.
