Abstract :
The operation of a 24 nm wavelength tunable self-starting, passively harmonic modelocked, figure-eight laser is experimentally demonstrated. Stable pulses with near half dutycycle are produced at repetition rates of up to 2.72 GHz at 1550 nm wavelength.
