  • Abstract
    We demonstrate a passively Q-switched ytterbium doped fiber laser with Cr4+:YAG and stimulated Brillouin backscattering. Linearly polarized output with ∼ 375 kW peak power and pulse duration as short as 490 ps have been obtained.
