Abstract :
We demonstrated a 1.3-GHz, Yb:KYW Kerr-lens mode-locked oscillator and a chirped-pulse amplifier system by using a double-clad Yb-doped fiber. The pulse duration of 180 fs was obtained with the average power of 20 W.
