  • Abstract
    Large electro-optic Pockels effect is observed in (Cd,Mn)Te single crystals in response to THz pulses, presenting voltage sensitivity ten times greater than at MHz frequencies. We demonstrate that the discrepancy is due to free-carrier screening.
