  • Abstract
    The transmission of laser in atmosphere is affected by kinds of factors in atmosphere channel, which brings signal attenuation and inter-symbol interferences. This paper proposes blind equalization algorithm of decision-directed based on higher-order cumulant to solve these problems. Take third-order cumulant as example, some simulations of the algorithm are made under different weather conditions. The simulation results show that the effect of blind blind equalization algorithm of decision-directed based on higher-order cumulant is better than that of classical adjudging and inducing method, which having quick convergency in addition gives advantage to improve signal attenuation and inter-symbol interferences in atmosphere laser communication system.
