Abstract :
To address the difficult technology problem on volume & weight measurement of powder heaps, the author designed a measurement method based on 3D laser scanning to catch point cloud on the surface of the heap, proposed the volume & weight algorithm and an improved Delaunay triangulation algorithm, developed the computer hardware system, control software and web application programs, and realized 3D laser scanning, 3D reconstruction, the volume & weight computing, and remote access to the result data.
