Abstract
Array antennas have a wide variety of military and commercial applications [1]. Array analysis problems are often electrically large, leading to the approximation of the antenna array as an infinite periodic structure. To capture realistic performance of the antenna system, it is necessary to analyze the finite array. This is often an electrically large, and therefore computationally intensive, problem. This paper proposes an approach for solving finite microstrip patch arrays in a shorter time period than current techniques.
