Abstract :
Multiband and directive antennas are very useful in commercial and military applications, especially in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) applications. With the increasing needs of miniaturization, multiband, very directive antennas and which allow the integration of various wireless technologies, research is oriented following different ways. One of it consists in using fractal elements. Traditionally, an antenna works at a single frequency or at two frequencies, whereas with a fractal antenna, we can have multiple resonance frequencies. For this project, we propose to design a multiband fractal antenna (RFID reader), with a higher directivity for RFID applications.
