Abstract :
In the future, mobile handsets will incorporate a large number of different radios [1]. However the amount of available space within a mobile phone is severely limited. For this reason the antennas must be combined into a single space. They should also be capable of handling many different wireless standards. From this discussion it is clear that further developments in reconfigurable antenna technology will be required.
