Abstract :
This work presents advances in the application of stacked subwavelength hole arrays for beamforming at millimetre-waves. In particular, it is shown that a metamaterial parabolic stepped lens constructed by stacking perforated plates along with an open-ended waveguide as a primary source give rise to a directivity of 29 dB. The results shown here as susceptible of being extended to any frequency range such as THz or even visible since Extraordinary Transmission perforated plates have been reported along the whole spectrum.
