Abstract :
Scanning characteristics of RADANT-type lens are improved in H-plane with introducing additional shunts that suppress a mutual influence between the lens elements. Numerical simulations reveal that three-bit RADANT-type lens can ensure the scanning sector in H-plane up to 30º and in E-plane up to 90º with conversion coefficient better than −3.5dB in the frequency range from 9.5 to 10.5GHz.
