Abstract
In this paper, aiming the feature of multi-core high performance computer system architecture containing the shared-memory and distributed memory structures, the research and implementation on MPI/OpenMP hybrid parallel computation of AREM model are discussed. The results of performance evaluation show that the parallel application can be scaled up to more CPU cores, its runtime can be shortened. High parallel performance can be obtained by requiring little programming effort. The MPI/OpenMP implementation can be incrementally created and the cost is acceptable.
