Abstract :
Virtual reality technique is applied in the industry widely, while the application of virtual assembly is rare in agricultural equipment. In this paper, we state several characteristics and key technologies on virtual assembly and have developed the virtual assembly system based on OSG which is a rendering engine. Finally, we described application of virtual assembly technique based on virtual reality on design and manufacture of agricultural equipment, take tractor gearbox for example.
