  • Abstract
    The paper deals with the remote control of linear motor. Concept of linear motor and its benefits are described. For providing remote control system which is possible to monitor by Internet the basic types of distance control systems are studied. Communication between motor and a computer is usually realized by serial port (RS 232 or RS 485) which is not suitable for our solution. For that, serial port communication by USB was chosen and USB adapter was designed. Circuit design of data processing system is based on PIC microcontroller. The remote control system of the linear motor is described via software product LabView.
